The Schnippenkopf is a 1,833 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps . It lies in the mountain range known as the "Sonnenköpfe", which branches off to the north at the Gundkopf and which borders the Illertal on the east and ends in the Imberger Horn near Hindelang . The Schnippenkopf is the highest and most southerly of the partially wooded elevations that follow the Deinenkopf to the north.

The Schnippenkopf can be reached easily on marked paths . A popular ascent is the one from the Gaisalpe over the Falkenjoch and over the grassy slopes to the summit.
