The Gundkopf is a 2062 m high rock head in the mountain range that runs from the Nebelhorn to the Rubihorn . It is located southwest of the Nebelhorn. At the Gundkopf, the ridge branches off to the north, which borders the Illertal to the east and ends in the Imberger Horn near Hindelang . This ridge, as the most important peak, bears the head of the de-head .
There is no marked path to the Gundkopf, only climbing tracks (both from Nebelhorn and Geißfuß ). All climbs require surefootedness and a head for heights.
