Schnyborody ( Ukrainian Жнибороди ; Russian Жнибороды Schniborody , Polish Żnibrody ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Ternopil with about 678 (2015) inhabitants.
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1436 under the Polish name Niezbrody , is located in the Butschatsch district about 100 km south of the oblast capital Ternopil on both banks of the small river Prowal ( Провал ) on the Podolian plate .
