occupation

Schramm is a low-budget film by Jörg Buttgereit from 1993. The film has both horror and surreal elements. The main role was cast by Florian Koerner von Gustorf , the drummer of the band Mutter , whose band colleague Max Müller is responsible for the soundtrack together with Gundula Schmitz .

content

The film shows the everyday life of the taxi driver Lothar Schramm, who seems to lead a completely normal life for his surroundings and maintains a purely friendly relationship with his neighbor Marianne, a prostitute. Behind this facade, however, there is a serial killer with severe psychological problems who is increasingly losing sight of the line between reality and his own fiction.
