The Schuesselthalbaechel , also known as Ruisseau de Rosteig , is an approximately 5 km long left tributary of the Moder in the French department of Bas-Rhin .

geography

course

The Schuesselthalbaechel arises in two spring branches in the northern Vosges . The origin of the eastern source branch is at an altitude of about 300  m southeast of Soucht . It initially squeezes south through the narrow Oberschuesselthal . At the exit of the valley it joins the western branch. A little later, the now unified Schuesselthalbaechel near Rosteig , which it flows past to the east, is fed by a small mountain stream. The stream passes the Schleussmuehle and then turns to the southwest. To the east of Hochberg, the Falkenthalbaechel flows towards him on his right . The Schuesselthalbaechel now reaches Wingen-sur-Moder and flows there, east of three small lakes, at an altitude of about 212  m into the Moder .
