Schumpeter Prize

The Schumpeter Prize is an Austrian award which is given for “innovative achievements in the field of economy, politics and economics”.

The Schumpeter Prize commemorates the Austro-German-American economist Joseph Schumpeter . The prize has been awarded since 1991 by the Schumpeter Society, based at the Vienna University of Economics and Business , and financed by the “Helmut Zilk Fund for International Relations Vienna” of Bank Austria . In 2001 the prize money was 200,000 Schilling.
