Schwabmühlhausen is a parish village and part of the municipality of Langerringen in the Swabian district of Augsburg in Bavaria ( Germany ).
The hamlet of Schwabaich also belongs to the district . The Singold flows through Schwabmühlhausen . The district is the southernmost town in the Augsburg district.

The district road A 18 leads from Langerringen via Schwabmühlhausen to the district border to Großkitzighofen , where it merges into the district road OAL 25 .

history

Until the regional reform in Bavaria on July 1, 1972, the independent municipality of Schwabmühlhausen and its district belonged to the district of Schwabmünchen and was then added to the district of Augsburg (initially called the district of Augsburg-West ). On May 1, 1978 Schwabmühlhausen was incorporated into the municipality of Langerringen.

The Catholic parish Sankt Martin in Schwabmühlhausen belongs to the deanery Schwabmünchen in the diocese of Augsburg . Schwabaich also belongs to the parish.
