Schwajkiwka ( Ukrainian Швайківка ; Russian Швайковка Schwaikowka ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 950 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in the 17th century, is the administrative center of the eponymous, 27.745 km² district council in the north of Berdychiv district , to which the village of Kateryniwka ( Катеринівка , ⊙ ) with about 190 inhabitants belongs.
The village is located on the bank of the Hnylopjat ( Гнилоп`ять ), a 99 km long tributary of the Teteriv , 13 km northwest of the Berdychiv district center and 40 km south of the Zhytomyr oblast center . In the northwest, Schwajkivka borders the village of Slobodyschtsche . In the village there is a wooden church from 1865.
