Schwarzenberger Amtshaus (Hüttenheim in Bavaria)

The Schwarzenberger Amtshaus in Hüttenheim , a district of the Willanzheim market in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen ( Bavaria ), was built in 1752. The building with the address Hüttenheim 5 is a protected architectural monument .

history

The former official house of the Prince of Schwarzenberg on the market square of Hüttenheim served as an inn for a long time ( Gasthaus zur golden Krone ). In 2013 the building stood empty and was offered for sale.

description

The two-storey mansard roof building with drilled frames and corner blocks was built in the Baroque style. Above the portal is crest of the Prince of Schwarzenberg attached. The outer walls are made of quarry stone , the eaves cornice is made of wood. The corner blocks , the window walls and the door frame are made of sandstone . All window frames are equipped with keystones . The building has a vaulted cellar made of quarry stone.

The paneling of the dining room from the early 20th century is worth mentioning. The ballroom is located on the first floor and some of the decorative paintings have been preserved.
