The Schwarzhorn is 2812 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol .
The summit of the Schwarzhorn is the point at which the Senderstal , Fotscher Tal and Oberbergtal meet. A ridge leads from the Schwarzhorn in a northerly direction to the Salfeins 2000 m , this ridge separates the Fotscher valley in the west from the Senderstal in the east. The ridge from the Schwarzhorn to the east carries the Marchsäule 2598 m and leads to Sendersjöchl 2477 m , which forms a transition from the Senderstal in the north to the Oberbergtal in the south. In the south-west a ridge leads over the Hohe Schöne to the Wildkopfscharte 2599 m , a transition between the Fotscher valley and the Oberbergtal.
The Schwarzhorn can be reached via marked routes. A path leads from the west from the Seealm in the Fotscher valley and finally over the southwest ridge to the summit. Another marked ascent leads from the Wildkopfscharte over the Hohe Schöne to the Schwarzhorn, the path over the ridge reaches grade II of the UIAA scale in some places . According to the AV guide, the Schwarzhorn can be climbed from Sendersjöchl via the Marchsäule without difficulty.
