The Schwarzwand is a summit north-east of the Geierstein in the Mangfall Mountains . The Maximiliansweg leads over the saddle between Geierstein and Schwarzwand . The summit has the rock waste typical of the Geierstein group, here sloping approx. 30 m to the north. There are no paths to the summit, only a few tracks, first across an alpine meadow, then along the ridge.
