The Schweinberg ( 1278 m ) is a mountain in the Tegernsee Mountains , which belong to the Bavarian Prealps .
topography
The Schweinberg is a fully wooded summit east of the Keilkopf and north of the Geierstein near Lenggries. It is probably one of the seldom visited summits in the Tegernsee mountains; its summit offers no view, can only be reached unmarked and pathless, but does not present any technical difficulties. There is a swampy meadow at the summit area.
The easiest approach is from Lenggries over forest paths to the saddle between Schweinberg and Schwarzbergel, then just to the end of a Holzrückeweges . From then on there is no path for another 100 meters to the highest point.
