The 23rd Swiss Film Awards were originally due to take place on March 27, 2020 in Zurich . Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the award ceremony was canceled. The winners were announced in a press release on March 23, 2020. The prizes should be presented later during the Locarno Film Festival in August 2020, but this cannot be carried out in its usual form on site either.
