Swiss wine queen
The Swiss Wine Queen (French: Reine du vin de Suisse , Italian: Regina del vino della Svizzera ) represents the wines and viticulture in Switzerland .
The election first took place in February 2008. The first winner was the qualified winemaker Karin Rohner from Stäfa on Lake Zurich .
The organizers were the food discounter Denner and the newspaper SonntagsBlick , who first sent out a questionnaire and had the candidates from almost all regions of Switzerland assessed by a five-person jury after a preselection:
- Karina Berger , Miss Switzerland organization, former Miss Switzerland
- Marco Castellaneta, Ringier -Pressesprecher, former konsum.tv presenter
- Felix Christen, oenologist
- Madeleine Gay , head oenologist at Provins
- Chandra Kurt , wine expert and author
