Swiss Benedictine Congregation

The Swiss Benedictine Congregation (also: Swiss Benedictine Congregation ; lat. Congregatio Helvetica Ordinis Sancti Benedicti ) is a monastic association of monasteries , an association of independent Benedictine monasteries ; it was founded in 1602 at the instigation of the abbot of Einsiedeln Augustin Hofmann and confirmed by Pope Clement VIII . It is part of the Benedictine Confederation .
