Schwemlitz is a place in the municipality of Rosche in the district of Uelzen in Lower Saxony .

The district of the district covers an area of ​​around 4 km², on which 105 people live in 58 households, and includes the district of Probien and the courtyards on Pilzenberg.

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1360.

In terms of nature, the area around the community is to be assigned to the Uelzen basin , it is located in the east of the Lüneburg Heath .

Schwemlitz extends essentially along the federal highway 191 , which as Dömitzer Straße forms the main street of the village.
