Scott Amendola
Scott Amendola (* 6. February 1969 in Oakland ) is an American jazz - drummer and bandleader.
Scott Amendola lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area . He played u. a. with Phillip Greenlief (1995), Charlie Hunter ( Return of the Candyman , 1998), Nels Cline and Paul Plimley ( Safecrackers , 1999) and led his own formation, the Scott Amendola Band , in which u. a. Nels Cline and Jenny Scheinman played. His albums appeared on Cryptogramophone Records . He also worked with Alan Pasqua and Ben Goldberg . In 2002/03 he worked with John Zorn ( Voice in the Wilderness ), since 2002 he has been a member of the trio The Nels Cline Singers ( Instrumentals , Initiate ). He was also part of Jessica Lurie's quartet ( Licorice & Smoke , 2006).
