Scott McNealy
Scott McNealy (born November 13, 1954 in Columbus , Indiana , USA ) was the CEO of Sun Microsystems , which he founded in 1982 together with Vinod Khosla , Bill Joy and Andreas von Bechtolsheim . He held the position of CEO from 1984 to 2006.
In 1984 McNealy took over the position of CEO of Vinod Khosla , who left the company in 1985. After 22 years, on April 24, 2006, McNealy handed over the position of CEO to Jonathan I. Schwartz .
McNealy graduated from Cranbrook School , a private school now part of the Cranbrook Educational Community . He studied at Harvard University and Stanford University .
