Scrapbook [ ˌskrapbʊk ] is an American video film directed by Eric Stanze from 2000. It caused a sensation through the explicit portrayal of a rape . Producer Tommy Biondo also wrote the script and can be seen as the leading actor.

The mentally disturbed Leonard repeatedly lures women to him in order to physically abuse them, sexually abuse them and then kill them. Before he kills her, he lets her write down her experiences in a book, the scrapbook . His latest victim, Clara, finds out that this book is her key to freedom and tries to use it.

Awards

After the Rue Morgue Magazine the film in 2002 as best independent film called 2001, he won the B-Movie Film Festival in 2001 in Syracuse , New York four awards, both for Eric Stanze in the categories of Best B-Movie and Best Director , and posthumously for Tommy Biondo in the categories Best Screenplay and Best Villain . Scrapbook also won the 2007 Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville , Kentucky for Best Feature Film .

criticism

Nonetheless, Scrapbook was recommended and criticized for its explicit portrayal of rape, which some critics see as marginal to pornography. In the UK, more than 15 minutes were cut to meet the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) rating of 18 and over .
