Sean Wroe (born March 18, 1985 in Melbourne ) is an Australian athlete who won the bronze medal in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the 2009 World Championships .

In 2004 Wroe took part in the World Athletics Championships in Grosseto , where he reached sixth place over 400 meters , with the Australian relay he finished seventh. In 2007 he won the Australian Championships over 400 meters. At the World Indoor Championships in 2008 , he finished sixth. In the outdoor season, Wroe was eliminated from the 2008 Olympics in the semifinals, as well as the previous year at the World Championships . In contrast to the previous year, however, he reached the Olympic final with the relay. There Sean Wroe, John Steffensen , Clinton Hill and Joel Milburn finished sixth in 3: 00.02 minutes.

In March 2009, Wroe improved his personal best in Brisbane to 45.07 seconds. At the 2009 World Championships, he was eliminated again in the semifinals. Together with Joel Milburn, Tristan Thomas and Ben Offereins , he qualified for the season finale in 3: 02.04 minutes. After a swap and a change, the season ran in the finale in the line-up of John Steffensen , Offereins, Thomas and Wroe; after 3: 00.90 minutes, the team won bronze behind the United States and United Kingdom relays.

At a height of 1.85 meters, his competition weight is 74 kilograms.
