Tristan Thomas (born May 23, 1986 in Brisbane ) is an Australian athlete who specializes in the 400 meter hurdles . He is also used in his country's 4 x 400 meter relay .

Sporting successes

Thomas celebrated his greatest successes to date in 2009, when he won the 400-meter hurdles at the Summer Universiade in Belgrade .

He also won the bronze medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin . Together with John Steffensen , Ben Offereins and Sean Wroe , Thomas had to beat only the teams from the United States (2: 57.86 min) and Great Britain (3: 00.53 min) in the relay competition in 3: 00.90 min give. In the individual competition over 400-meter hurdles, Thomas was eliminated in the World Cup semi-finals.

In 2008 Thomas was also the Australian champion in the 400-meter hurdles.
