Ben Offereins (born March 12, 1986 in Sydney ) is a former Australian athlete who won the bronze medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the 2009 World Championships .

Offereins was born in Sydney, but he grew up in Perth. In 2004 he took part in the Junior World Championships in Grosseto and was eliminated there over 400 meters in the semifinals, with the Australian relay he finished seventh. In 2005 Offereins won the Australian Championships over 400 meters.

After Offereins was part of the Australian relay team neither at the 2007 World Championships nor at the 2008 Olympic Games, he qualified for the team in 2009. Together with Joel Milburn , Tristan Thomas and Sean Wroe he qualified for the final in 3: 02.04 minutes. After a swap and a change, the season ran in the finale in the line-up of John Steffensen , Offereins, Thomas and Wroe; after 3: 00.90 minutes, the team won bronze behind the United States and United Kingdom relays.

In 2010 Offereins won his second Australian championship title in the 400 meters, having recently improved his personal best to 44.86 s. At the 2010 Continental Cup in Split , he took sixth place over 400 meters and fourth place with the relay. In October 2010 Offereins took part in the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and reached seventh place over 400 meters. In 2012, he joined the Australian relay at the Olympic Games in London , but the relay was eliminated in advance.

With a height of 1.82 meters, his competition weight was 72 kilograms.
