Sebastián Athié

Sebastián Athie (* 26. July 1995 in Santiago de Querétaro , State of Querétaro , Mexico ; † 4. July 2020 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) was a Mexican television actor and singer .

life and career

His career began in 2014 when he started a series on Disney Channel Mexico. He started singing in 2018 and sang the Mexican national anthem during a friendly between Mexico and Argentina. Several music singles followed.

But he became known and popular in Latin America through the Argentine football series "O11CE", in which he played from 2017 to 2019 and made him known across the continent.

Athié supported the Black Lives Matter movement and coined the phrase: "People wake up and the opponents are afraid, they already know why."

On July 4, 2020, he collapsed dead with a heart attack , despite being deemed perfectly healthy. In the meantime he had done fitness and sports.
