Sebastián Fernández , full name Sebastián Mauricio Fernández Presa , (born November 15, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.74-meter-tall offensive player Fernández played for Miramar Misiones since 2008 . In the 2010/11 season he completed 28 first division games with the Montevideans and scored three goals. No usage statistics are available for Apertura 2011. In February 2012 he moved to Danubio FC , with whom he signed a contract for a year and a half and for whom he scored four goals in 14 appearances in the Primera División in the 2012 Clausura . In June 2012 he joined the Mexican club Club San Luis . Two goals in 13 league appearances and one goal in three Copa México games are there for him. In the last days of December 2012 he moved to Peru to Universitario de Deportes . With the Peruvians, he played in 26 games of the Primera División and scored five times into the opposing goal. From February 2014, he continued his career in Canada with the Vancouver Whitecaps as part of a loan deal . For the Canadians, he played 33 games (5 goals) in the MLS and two games in the Canadian Championship . In January 2015 he returned to Mexico and played with Necaxa until mid-July 2015 . At this career station he was used three times in the league and in the Mexican Cup. He was denied a personal goal. This was followed by a renewed engagement with Danubio FC. The statistics show him six first division appearances and two in the Copa Sudamericana 2015 . He didn't score a goal. In January 2016, he moved within the city and the league to Liverpool Montevideo . In the 2016 Clausura he was used four times (one goal) in the Primera División. In mid-August 2016, he joined Deportivo Pasto . For the Colombians, he has played eight games (no goal) in Primera A and three times (one goal) in the Copa Colombia (as of July 25, 2017) .
