Sebastian Glasner (born May 6, 1985 in Treuchtlingen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Right-footed Glasner started his career at TSG Pappenheim before joining the 1. FC Nürnberg youth team . There he was only used in the second team and in 2005 moved to the upper division Wormatia Worms . For the 2007/08 season he moved to SV Darmstadt 98 when the relegated regional league had to set up a completely new team except for two goalkeepers and a defender. In the league season Glasner played all 34 games, scored 21 goals and rose to Darmstadt 98 in the regional league.

Glasner moved to third division club FC Erzgebirge Aue after the season . In 2010 he rose with the club in the 2nd division, to which he had contributed ten goals in 31 games. Although he was then used 24 times in the second highest professional league, he lost his regular place and only played a single game and scored no goal. He then left the club and joined the third division Wacker Burghausen for the 2011/12 season , for whom he made his debut on July 23, 2011 in the game against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and scored two goals in this game. He played a total of 32 games for Wacker, in which he scored 13 goals.

For the 2012/13 season, the second division Energie Cottbus signed him free of charge. At the end of January 2013, he prematurely terminated his contract in order to move to third division Arminia Bielefeld . On January 29, 2013, Arminia Bielefeld confirmed the commitment of the center forward. Glasner signed a contract until 2015. With Arminia he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. After he had no more prospects in Bielefeld, the striker moved to FC Viktoria Köln in the Regionalliga West in the summer of 2013 . There he signed a contract valid until June 30, 2015 with an option for a further year. For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the third division Chemnitzer FC .

Glasner has been playing for SpVgg Bayreuth in the Bavarian regional league since the 2015/16 season . There he scored the 2-2 in his first game against 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 in the 92nd minute. After two years in the Bavarian regional league, Glasner moved to ATSV Erlangen in the regional league for the 2017/18 season . With the team he became champion and rose to the Bayern League.
