Sebastian Kautz (* 1970 in Berlin ) is a German actor , director and mask player.

Life

He studied acting from 1990 to 1994 at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . From 1993 to 1994 Sebastian Kautz worked as a radio presenter at Energy Sachsen ( Nachtlinie and Kautz & Köster - Saxony's radio talk show ). Theater engagements followed: Schauspielhaus Leipzig, carrousel theater An der Parkaue Berlin, Renaissance theater, Schillertheaterwerkstatt, Volksbühne. From 1997 to 2005 he was a member of the Bremer Shakespeare Company . He has been a freelance worker since 2006 (including the Flöz family , Berlin). Since the mid-1990s he has also worked for film and television. In 2011 Sebastian Kautz founded his own theater company, Bühne Cipolla , puppet theater for adults with live music.

For the Cipolla stage he directed Mario & der Zauberer (2011), Weserwärts! (2012), Bestie Mensch (2013), Schachnovelle (2015) and Michael Kohlhaas (2017).
