Sebastian Kirchammer

Sebastian Kirchammer (born February 12, 1841 in Neuhausen ; † August 10, 1892 there ) was a German landowner , mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kirchammer attended elementary school and devoted himself to agriculture from his youth and in 1864 took over his father's property, which he continued to manage. At the age of 27 he became mayor of the Volkenschwand community and held this office until his death. He was also a member of the district committee, a sworn expert on the state hail insurance company and, since 1881, the second chairman of the Rottenburg district agricultural committee .
On June 28, 1887 he was elected member of the state parliament. From 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Niederbayern 6 ( Kelheim , Rottenburg , Mallersdorf ) and the German Center Party . Both mandates ended with his death.
