Sebastian Krause (born October 16, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .
Career
Sebastian Krause started his volleyball career at SCC Berlin . He later moved to VC Olympia Berlin and was appointed to the junior national team. In 2008 Krause was signed by the Bundesliga club Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen . The high-serving outside attacker also made seven appearances in the senior national team during this time . After a season with the homeland club and local rival SCC Berlin, with whom he became German runner-up in 2011, Krause returned to the Netzhoppers. In 2012 he played for a few months at the Greek club Foinikas Syros . In December 2012 he returned to Germany and was signed by VfB Friedrichshafen , with whom he again became German runner-up in 2013. Then Krause moved to Qatar to Al Gharafa SC and in early 2014 to the Romanian top club Remat Zalau . In 2014/15 he was active in Belarus at Stroitel Minsk . From summer 2015 he played for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia and returned to the Bundesliga for Netzhoppers in December. In April 2016 he played for the Swiss first division club Lausanne UC .
Krause has been playing for the German third division club PSV Neustrelitz since 2017 , with whom he became champion of the northern season in 2018/19 and received the award as the most valuable player in the league.
