Sebastian Tuch (born July 3, 1975 in Hanau ) is a German football coach and former player.

career

Tuch played with the Hanau Hawks from 1995 . With the team he won the European club competition EFAF Cup in 1997 .

In 1999 Tuch, a 1.95 meter tall cornerback , was under contract with Berlin Thunder in the NFL Europe . He was a member of the Aschaffenburg Stallions until 2001 , when he switched to the Düsseldorf Panthers , which he strengthened in the 2001 season. In 2002 and 2003, Tuch was part of the Rhein-Main Razorbacks . In 2004 he was back on the field for the Hanau (now Hanau Hornets).

For the 2005 season, the industrial engineer studied at the Marburg Mercenaries . He was in charge of the Hessian youth team as a coach, in Marburg Tuch took on the task of defense coordinator in the coaching staff, and in 2008 he took up the post of head coach there. In the same year he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf for his sporting achievements .

In 2011, Tuch was appointed to the coaching staff of the German national team, where he was responsible for defensive backs and players with special tasks. His main occupation was as technical facility manager at the Frankfurt Commerzbank-Arena .

In 2015 he became the defense coordinator of the national team of Poland . In 2018 he joined the coaching staff of Frankfurt Universe and took on the support of players with special tasks.

National team

As a member of the German national team, Tuch was runner-up in the European Championship in 2000, European Champion in 2001, and again runner-up in 2005. At the 2003 World Cup he won bronze with the national team and achieved the same result at the 2007 World Cup. At the 2005 World Games in Duisburg , he won gold with Germany.
