Sebastien Thill (born December 29, 1993 ) is a Luxembourg soccer player. He is under contract with Progres Niederkorn .

Career

society

Thill started playing football in the youth of Progres Niederkorn , from where he moved on to CS Petingen . In 2009 his first appearances in the BGL Ligue followed . After three years in the senior sector, he moved back to his hometown club Progres Niederkorn in 2012.

National team

He made his first game for the national team on September 5, 2015, when he came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute in the qualifying match for the 2016 European Football Championship against Macedonia (1-0) and scored the winning goal in stoppage time. So far he has played eight other international matches.

Court affair

On 20 December 2017, the condemned court Thill, for driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic accidents caused, as well as hit and run an integral, 42-month driving ban and fined. The driving ban is valid for 36 months on probation .

family

His father Serge Thill was also a Luxembourg national player (14 appearances) and played 221 times for various clubs in the national division . Brother Olivier plays for first division club FK Ufa in Russia , while Vincent plays for FC Pau in France. Both are also national players of Luxembourg.
