Ankh -ka-Re ˁnḫ-k3-Rˁ
With living Ka, a Re (alternative name reading)

Sechemkare , also Sechem-ka-Re , was the throne name of an ancient Egyptian king ( Pharaoh ) of the 8th Dynasty ( First Intermediate Period ). The reading of his name is uncertain: it can be Sechem-ka-Re or Ankh-ka-Re. King Sechemkare is mentioned in a letter from Elephantine . According to Silke Roth , he could be identical to King Nemtiemsaef II from the 6th dynasty , as a relief fragment was found in the mortuary temple of the pyramid by his mother Neith, which could be read as the throne name Anchkare .
