Sechemkare (Sechem ka Re) Sḫm k3 Rˁ Mighty is the Ka des Re |
Sechemkare was a prince of the ancient Egyptian 4th dynasty . He was a son of Pharaoh Chephren and his wife Hekenuhedjet . Probably during the reign of Userkaf and Sahure , the first two rulers of the 5th Dynasty , he held the office of vizier and was thus the highest official after the king. Chufu […] et is known as the wife of the Sechemkare, but her name is only incompletely passed down.
His grave
Sechemkare owns the rock grave LG 89 on the Central Field in Giza . The grave consists of two rooms, which are provided with numerous reliefs. The rear, smaller room above the entrance contains a list of the names of Chephren, Mykerinos , Sheepseskaf , Userkaf and Sahure.
