The building at Seestraße 30 in Unterschondorf , a district of the municipality of Schondorf am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was built in 1899. The villa is a protected architectural monument .

architecture

The two-storey hipped roof building with a corner tower, bay window and gable was built for a citizen from Bremen according to plans by the Munich architect Adolf Seiffhart . That is why the Bremen city coat of arms is on the weather vane of the corner tower. Originally the property extended to the banks of the Ammersee .

The villa stands on a high foundation, with the south facade facing the garden as the front side. At the south-east corner there is a single-storey, multi-sided corner bay window with hooded roofing , at the south-west corner there is a three-storey corner tower with a flat copper onion hood. A surrounding eaves and gable cornice serves as a dividing element. The cross -frame windows usually have a small-scale muntin. The originally existing shutters have been removed.
