The sailors newspaper is a monthly sailing magazine of the SVG service publishing from Bad Schwartau , where other water sports magazines such as sailing , boat market, Motorboat (formerly Water Sports) and charter horizons appear. The main target group of the Segler-Zeitung are cruising and regatta sailors who are interested in sport , as well as members of German sailing clubs and associations. The editorial office is based in Hamburg .
Main topics
A large part of the Segler-Zeitung is devoted to the individual presentation of new boats , yachts and equipment from the field of sailing in the sections "New Yachts", "Technology / Tips & Trends" and "Company News", supplemented by more detailed boat tests under the heading " Already sailed ". This part of the booklet increases significantly on the occasion of boat shows.
A constant and detailed part of the Segler-Zeitung are news, reports and dates from the German state sailing associations , which also provide information about the results of association and club regattas. The class room category, introduced in 2010, contains reports on the individual sailboat classes . Other pages with a regatta calendar, reports from national and international races and further background information on the subject are also aimed at regatta sailors.
Other fixed, but comparatively small, sections of the Segler-Zeitung are z. B. Information on yacht charter , area reports and an advertising market.
The Segler-Zeitung is also the media partner of several major German regattas. These include Kiel Week , Warnemünde Week , Travemünde Week and North Sea Week .
