Seiji Aochi ( Japanese 青 地 清 二 , Aochi Seiji ; born June 21, 1942 in Otaru , † August 14, 2008 in Sapporo ) was a Japanese ski jumper .

Seiji Aochi studied at Meiji University and then worked for Yukijirushi Nyūgyō ( Snow Brand Milk Products ). Aochi first took part in the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble . With 90.5 and 87.5 meters, he was ranked 26th when jumping on the large hill. The Japanese celebrated his greatest success at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo . Behind Yukio Kasaya and Akitsugu Konno, he completed the three-fold success of the Japanese hosts on the small hill with jumps over 83.5 and 77.5 m as third place and thus bronze medalist. He finished the first ski flying world championship in Planica in 1972 in 13th place.

After his active career, Aochi worked as a consultant for his employer's ski club. In this role he was among other things the mentor of Masahiko Harada . He died of stomach cancer at the age of 66.
