Selçuk Öztürk (born April 8, 1972 in Büyükkışla , Turkey ) is a Dutch politician of the Denk party .

Life

From 1998 to 2013 Öztürk was a member of the Roermond city ​​council for the Partij van de Arbeid party . He left the PvdA in 2014 and founded the Denk party together with the Dutch politician Tunahan Kuzu . On February 9, 2015, they named their group or faction DENK and published a political manifesto to found a movement for migrants. In the 2017 parliamentary elections in the Netherlands , his party, of which he is the party leader, won three seats in the Second Chamber of the States General .
