Sempervivum minutum is a species of houseleek ( Sempervivum ) in the thick-leaf family(Crassulaceae).

Vegetative characteristics
Sempervivum minutum grows as a rosette plant with a diameter of about 3 centimeters and forms slim, short runners . The obovate, somewhat glandular, downy-haired leaves have a pointed tip and strong, often bent eyelashes . The outer leaves are tinged with orange-red. The leaf blade is 12 to 18 millimeters long and 5 to 7 millimeters wide.
Generative characteristics
The strong flower shoots reach a length of 3 to 7 centimeters (rarely up to 12 centimeters). Its leaves are covered with reddish hair and eyelashes. The nine- to eleven-fold flowers have a diameter of about 2.3 centimeters. Their reddish pink petals sometimes have a dark red band. The almost bare stamens are red, the anthers reddish pink.

Systematics and distribution
Sempervivum minutum is common in the south of Spain in the Sierra Nevada at altitudes of 1650 to 2150 meters.
The first description as Sempervivum tectorum var. Minutum by Heinrich Moritz Willkomm was published in 1874. Carlos Pau raised the variety to the rank of a species in 1909.
One synonym is Sempervivum nevadense Wale (1941).
