Sempervivum transcaucasicum is a species of houseleek ( Sempervivum ) in the thick-leaf family(Crassulaceae). The specific epithet transcaucasicum refers to the occurrence of the species in Transcaucasia .

Vegetative characteristics
Sempervivum transcaucasicum grows as a rosette plant with a diameter of 3 to 4 centimeters and forms only a few runners . The obscure to obovate, yellowish green, short glandular, downy-haired leaves have an abruptly attached tip. The leaf blade is 15 to 20 millimeters long and about 10 millimeters wide.
Generative characteristics
The inflorescence is zymous . The 11 to 13-fold flowers have a diameter of about 2.5 centimeters. Their ovate-lanceolate, pointed petals are 2 to 2.5 millimeters long. The lanceolate, light yellow sepals are lavender-colored at their base. They are 8 to 10 millimeters long and 2 millimeters wide. The stamens are bright purple, the anthers are yellow. The rectangular nectar flakes are curved upwards.
Systematics and distribution
Sempervivum transcaucasicum is common in northeastern Turkey and Georgia on solidification rock at altitudes of 550 to 2700 meters.
The first description by Clara Winsome Muirhead was published in 1965.
