Creglingen transmitter

The station Creglingen is a filling station of the Südwestrundfunks (formerly the Süddeutscher Rundfunk ) for radio. It is located above the town of Creglingen on a hill, about one kilometer northeast of the city center. A free-standing reinforced concrete mast is used as an antenna carrier.

From here the town of Creglingen and the surrounding area is supplied with the broadcast programs of the Südwestrundfunk.

Until the introduction of DVB-T , the television programs Das Erste , ZDF and SWR Fernsehen were broadcast terrestrially by this station .
