The Freienfeld transmitter is a main transmitter of the RAS and, together with the Eisack Valley transmitter, covers the greater Sterzing area. This transmitter is used by RAI, Mediaset, Radio 2000, Radio Italia Anni 60, Radio Tirol, RGW, RTL102,5, Südtirol1, Vodafone, Wind, Zivilschutz, Brennercom and Antea. This transmitter, together with the Flans transmitter, covers the area between Freienfeld and Mauls. This transmitter, together with the transmitter Plose, covers the area with the DAB programs between Freienfeld and Franzensfeste .
