Localization of the state of Salzburg in Austria

The transmitter Salzburg-Moosstraße was a radio transmitter for medium wave broadcasting , which was built from 1950 to 1952 as a replacement for the transmitter Salzburg-Mönchsberg . It was built from 1950 to 1952 and went into operation on August 1, 1952. Originally it was supposed to have an 80-meter-high transmission mast , but because of its location in the approach lane of Salzburg Airport, it was left with a 60-meter-high transmission mast. In 1981 broadcasting was stopped.
