Localization of Baden-Württemberg in Germany

The transmitter Unterhausen is a transmitter of the Südwestrundfunk (formerly the Südwestfunk ). It is located on the 788 meter high casting stone above the village of Unterhausen . A free-standing steel lattice tower serves as the antenna carrier .

The transmitter broadcasts into the Echaz valley and thus supplies Unterhausen and the neighboring town of Honau to the south , which due to the topography of the Albtrauf were inadequately supplied by the Südwestfunk transmitter.
