Senegambia Highway

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Senegambia Highway is a 4.5 kilometer long main road in the West African state of Gambia .

description

The Senegambia Highway connects the Kombo-St. Mary Area with the Coastal Road , which enables better connections to the southern locations of the coastal region in the West Coast Region . It is the continuation of the Bertil Harding Highway , which leads from the north towards Banjul and Bakau on Kololi and the Senegambia Area . At the intersection of Bertil Harding Highway, from which the Senegambia Road branches off to the west, the Senegambia Highway begins and continues south. On the western side the path first leads past the International Trypanotolerance Center and then past the Bijilo Forest Park , to the east of the road are the towns of Kerr Seringe Ngaga and Bijilo . After the Bijilo Forest Park, some larger hotels are accessed through the street, after which it turns to the southwest and comes to a crossroad. At this junction ( Brusubi Roundabout ; Brusubi = Brufut, Sukuta and Bijilo), which is in the southwest of Sukuta , a main road leads from Sukuta and Coastal Road starts here.
