Senhas ( port. "Slogans") is the second album of the Brazilian Singer-songwriter Adriana Calcanhotto . It was first released in 1992 as an LP by Sony Music Brasil and was later reissued several times in CD format. On the album she combines classics, such as the title Mulato Calado , with her own compositions.

Emergence

The album was recorded by Marcos De Saboia at the Impressão Digital Studios in Rio de Janeiro . Calcanhotto accompanies herself on some tracks on acoustic guitar, on tracks to which she only sings, she is usually accompanied by Toni Costa on guitar.

For more than 130,000 copies sold, the album was awarded a gold record in their home country . The title song was used in the telenovela Renascer . The single has sold over 150,000 units in Brazil.

Alvaro Neder from Allmusic saw the album as a typical representative of the MPB style . ("The album [...] has an acoustic sonority which inscribes it perfectly in the MPB category.") And awarded 4 out of 5 stars.
