Seo started internationally for the first time at the 2011 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Deer Valley . There she took 22nd place in the Dual Moguls and 19th place in the Moguls competition. She made her debut in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup in February 2012 in Beida Lake , which she finished in 27th place in the Moguls. At the Junior World Championships 2012 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she achieved 23rd place in the Dual Moguls. The following year she came in the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2013 in Voss on the 28th place in the Moguls and on the 22nd place in the Dual Moguls. In February 2014, she took 23rd place in the Mughal competition at the Winter Olympics in Sochi . The following month she was seventh in the Dual Moguls and sixth in the Moguls at the Junior World Championships. In the 2014/15 season she achieved her first and so far only top ten place in the World Cup with sixth place in the Dual Moguls in Deer Valley. At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2015 on Kreischberg , she achieved 19th place in the Moguls and 14th place in the Dual Moguls. In February 2015, she won the bronze medal in the Moguls competition at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Sierra Nevada . The following month she became the South Korean champion in the Moguls. At the 2017 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Sierra Nevada , she came 22nd in the Moguls and fourth in the Dual Moguls.
