Seped-humility is the name of the ancient Egyptian border god in Amduat , which is only documented during the New Kingdom . It represented the passage gate of the 6th hour of the night . In the name variant "Seped-demet" it appeared as a falcon in the New Kingdom of Amun .
“He ( re ) drives the road, equipped with his barge , he assigns ... fields as ... victims, he gives ... water from their waters when the Duat passes through , day after day. The name of the gate of this place is 'The one with sharp knives'. "
