Sepp Krassnitzer

Josef (Sepp) Krassnitzer (born April 15, 1947 in Strasbourg , Carinthia ) is an Austrian musician. He became known by his stage name Robinson . Together with Hans Kreuzmayr he founded the duo Waterloo & Robinson .

Life

Sepp Krassnitzer moved to Linz in Upper Austria with his parents and brothers Günter and Horst in 1957 . Here he also got to know Waterloo . He has been married since 1973 and has two daughters and four grandchildren. Krassnitzer is a trained graphic artist and studied violin at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz . In 1976 Waterloo & Robinson took part in the Eurovision Song Contest , and finished in fifth place.

In autumn 2010 Sepp Krassnitzer was nominated as Robinson for the Austrian preliminary decision for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest . He did not reach the top 30 participants.
