Serge Colbert
Serge J. Colbert (born June 16, 1967 in Newport Beach , California ) is an American composer .
Life
Serge Colbert started playing the piano at the age of seven and was already playing at the music school in Nice after a few years before studying at the Conservatoire de Lausanne in Switzerland at the age of 13 . At the age of 18 he began to study at the Mozarteum in Salzburg , before completing a degree at Goldsmith's College in London. Parallel to his studies, he was already composing for his first commercials at the age of 19, before writing his first own film music at the age of 22. On the side he also produced and wrote professional software for composers.
After Colbert was best known for the soundtrack for action films such as Operation Delta Force , Ticker and Derailed - Terror im Zug , he switched to composing the music for film trailers in recent years . He composes the music for trailers for films such as The Strange Son , The Spiderwick Mysteries , The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian of Narnia and Defiance - For my brothers who never gave up .
