Sergei Ovchinnikov ( Russian Сергей Иванович Овчинников * 11. October 1970 in Moscow ), and Boss called, is a Russian football - goalkeeper , who for the Russian national football team and most recently for FC Dynamo Moscow played.

He started his professional career at FK Dinamo Sukhum , but soon moved to Lokomotiv Moscow , where he was to play for six years. He then went to Portugal , where he played for Benfica Lisbon , FC Alverca and FC Porto , before returning to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2002.

He moved to Dynamo Moscow in 2005, but was released from the club that same year after being involved in a clash with a referee. In January 2007, he joined the board of Lokomotiv Moscow with another former Russian national goalkeeper , Ruslan Nigmatullin .

At the 2004 European Football Championship , he ran twice for Russia, but was put off the field for a handball outside the penalty area in the game against the Portuguese national football team .
