Sergei Saifulin ( Russian Сергей Сайфулин , English transcription : Sergey Sayfulin, born May 27, 1968 in Kemerovo ) is a Russian beach volleyball player .

Career

Saifulin completed his first international tournaments in 1996 with Dmitri Kuwitschka . In 1997 and 1998 he played one year each with Mikhail Kuschnerjow and Rushan Dajanow , without reaching any front seats. At the 1999 World Cup , he finished 25th with Dmitri Karassew . Then the Russians were fifth at the European Championships in Palma . In Getxo in 2000 they reached the semi-finals after a clear opening defeat against the later finalists Egger / Heyer , in which they again lost to the Swiss. With a 2:15 against the Norwegians Kjemperud / Høidalen the bronze medal. After he was again unsuccessful with Kuwitschka in 2001, he formed a duo with Kuschnerjow again in 2002. At the EM 2002 Saifulin / Kuschnerjow eliminated in the national duel against Karassew / Saizew . In the same year they reached two ninth places at the Open tournaments in Stavanger and Espinho .
